Photo Books ... now available at Kristin Knudson Photography!

As I mentioned earlier this week, I'm now offering Photo Books! I'm really excited about these as I think they're really neat to have around ... and they're perfect grandparent gifts too!! These books are very simple in design and wording so that the photos can tell the story. Each page can hold anywhere from just one image all the way up to nine images.

You may remember the Bauer Family. They were the six siblings who I had such a great time with at the Mantorville Park. The following are some images of the book that their mom ordered.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that I'll be away for the weekend and will not be around to return phone calls or e-mails until Tuesday, August 19. We're headed off to North Carolina to celebrate a wedding with family.

welcome to the world, collin!

Meet Collin. He's the newest addition to our VERY fertile neighborhood. And I'll fully admit ... seeing him gives me extreme baby fever. :)

When talking to his mom on the phone a few days before, she commented on how he'd been in somewhat of a nap routine and that the time we selected for the session should work well with said naptime. However, when they showed up, he hadn't taken much of a nap that day. :) It seems like that's the way it often goes ... the days you REALLY want them to nap, they don't. Oh well, Mr. Collin didn't do too bad afterall. He tried to show us who was boss but after a little bit we finally won him over and he even gave us a few smirks.

norah at five months

Miss Norah came to visit again last night. I have loved watching her grow between her monthly visits. The newest development this month? She doesn't like me anymore. :( Well, that's not fully true ... it just took some time with mom and dad alone with me sneaking in after they'd gotten her smiling and in a great mood again. By the end of the session she was my friend again. :)

I can't wait to go to HER house for her 6 month session. It's a great way to get some unposed and natural pictures with true expressions! I really enjoy sessions like this and always encourage parents to throw in some home/outdoor sessions if they've done a lot of studio portraits. Contact me if you're interested in a session like this ... it could even be as easy as having me over to photograph your family while you bake (and enjoy) cookies!

Well, I've been dragging my feet a bit on getting this website up and going ... but as of last night, it's finally live! Please check it out and give me some feedback. I'd love to hear what everyone thinks!!!

I hadn't seen Lucas since I did his newborn photos ... and while I thought he was a cutie then, he now has cheeks that you really have to hold back from giving a big ol' squeeze!! He seems to be the perfect mixture of mom and dad.
