I'm Kristin ... mom, wife, photographer and graphic designer ... just to name a few.
Photography has been a passion of mine since college. I had an excellent opportunity to work in the darkroom ... you know, the old fashioned way ... developing my own film and pictures while I was at Winona State University. After having my own children, however, my passion for photography became more intense and soon I was reading anything photography related that I could get my hands on.
After having a 15 minute appointment for my son's six month pictures, I decided I would put everything into setting up my own studio. A studio where children aren't rushed, snack breaks are absolutely necessary and meltdowns are okay.
I welcome just about any kind of photography. My speciality is newborns and toddlers but I also do senior and family photography. Most of my work is done in a studio set-up ... however, I'm looking into doing more lifestyle photography and would LOVE to speak to anyone interested in setting up an appointment like this. I'd come to your home and shoot your children in their natural environment ... no backdrops and no huge flash set-ups. I would also be interested in shooting small weddings.
